Host conformance v1

Host conformance v1 validates host behavior rather than a particular SQL schema. At defined protocol hooks, the suite terminates the host and rebuilds it from durable storage to verify recovery across crash windows.

The suite runs against tcc-host-sqlite, the Node and Python reference hosts, and Trigora Cloud. tcc-host-sqlite is the persistent Rust host used by trigora dev. Trigora Cloud runs the shared suite against its in-memory driver and adds tests for reopening its SQL store, recovering child activation, and rejecting an invalid host_protocol_version. These Cloud-specific tests extend coverage without defining a separate protocol.

Passing the suite confirms that a host matches the protocol’s defined crash-window behavior. It does not certify the host’s process supervisor, storage system, regional failure handling, or uptime.

The runner and test cases are included with tcc-engine. Run the suite against a custom host driver before describing the host as compatible with protocol version 1. See Custom host.
