Embed in Node

Published Node packages:

  • @tcc-engine/frontend-typescript — compile the TypeScript subset to an artifact
  • @tcc-engine/bindings-javascript — JavaScript bindings, including the engine interpreter

@tcc-engine/host-node and @tcc-engine/frontend-rust are not published packages. The Node SQLite host in the tcc-engine repository is a reference implementation for the host protocol and conformance suite; trigora dev uses the Rust tcc-host-sqlite host instead.

Application Programs use the Trigora authoring SDK rather than these embedding packages. Installation instructions and API details for the published engine packages are available in tcc-engine. A custom host must implement the required host behavior; importing @trigora/sdk does not add Trigora Cloud semantics to it.

A custom Node host must implement persistence, effect dispatch, events, timers, and child activation, then pass host conformance v1. The reference hosts demonstrate conformant SQLite implementations, but custom hosts may use a different database.

For a managed runtime, follow the Trigora Cloud quickstart. When you embed TCC Engine, your host is responsible for operating persistence and recovery.
