Install
TypeScript
Section titled “TypeScript”npm install @trigora/sdk @trigora/client trigora| Package | Role |
|---|---|
@trigora/sdk | Author Programs: effect, waitForEvent, sleep, invoke |
@trigora/client | Start, send, cancel, and read executions on Cloud or local trigora dev |
trigora | CLI: init, dev, deploy, start, send, cancel, whoami |
The npm trigora package provides a Node launcher for the Rust CLI. Node 22 is required to use it.
Runtime CLI commands target trigora dev by default. Add --remote to target Trigora Cloud. trigora deploy and trigora whoami are Cloud-only and need TRIGORA_TOKEN.
These packages do not embed TCC Engine. Published engine packages are on TCC Engine overview.
Python
Section titled “Python”Authoring is the trigora package in trigora-python: program, effect, wait_for_event, sleep, invoke, gather, and race. HTTP is trigora-client, imported as trigora_client.
pip install trigora trigora-clienttrigora depends on trigora-cli, which provides the trigora command. A Python-only project does not require Node.
The Python authoring package installs the compatible TCC compiler automatically. The CLI uses that compiler when it builds Python Programs. trigora-client does not install the compiler. The Python client uses Cloud when a token is set; otherwise it uses TRIGORA_RUNTIME_URL or http://127.0.0.1:3477.
The crates live in trigora-rust.
cargo add trigora trigora-clientcargo install trigora-cli| Crate | Role |
|---|---|
trigora | Author Programs: effect, sleep, invoke, join, race, wait_for_event. The entry is pub async fn main. |
trigora-client | Start, send, cancel, and read executions on Cloud or local trigora dev |
trigora-cli | Installs the trigora, trigora-local, and tcc-rust-compile binaries |
cargo add trigora does not install a command. A Rust-only project does not require Node.
The Rust client uses Cloud when a token is set; otherwise it uses TRIGORA_RUNTIME_URL or http://127.0.0.1:3477. See Rust.
Node 22 is required when using the npm trigora launcher or when a TypeScript or JavaScript project uses the TypeScript adapter. That adapter compiles Programs and runs TypeScript and JavaScript effects. Projects that use only Python or Rust do not require Node.
Trigora packages and TCC Engine
Section titled “Trigora packages and TCC Engine”Programs use the Trigora authoring packages listed above, not TCC Engine packages. The packages @tcc-engine/host-node and @tcc-engine/frontend-rust are not published. See TCC Engine overview for the packages available to engine embedders.
